Panchangam is an application to generate Hindi calendar of any given period of time. It is based upon the calculation of movement of different planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, , Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune). From a given reference point (1st January, 1800), displacement of these planets are calculated using a branch of physics "Movement of Celestial Bodies" and trigonometrical formulas.
